LET'S CHAT!
Once you've contacted me, I will have you fill out a short questionnaire. Then we’ll talk, email or meet for coffee. Let’s discuss the vision for your wedding invitations. We can sit down and look at color swatches and ideas that inspire you. Each bride (and groom) is unique and your wedding invitations should be as well. I’ll create a custom quote based on your invitation needs. Keep in mind that it’s never too soon to start working on your wedding invitations. Lead-time is a minimum of four months before your big day however it’s best to start at least six–eight months prior. If I have less than four months to design, print and deliver your custom invitations, a small rush fee will be charged.

GETTING STARTED.
I will start by providing you with a production timeline, so you have all the important dates in one place! A busy bride needs all the help she can get. After a non-refundable date-holding down payment (which goes towards your suite), I will start the design process. Based on the complexity of the project, initial designs will be presented in 1–3 weeks. You’ll receive an email with a PDF proof of your invitation. Based on your feedback, you will have 3 rounds of revisions FREE of charge. Each additional proof is $50. Please note: most custom suites, excluding save-the-dates, begin around $1600 (for about 50-60 suites). However, a true estimate will be provided for you upon receipt of a questionnaire, and after a short phone chat.

MOVING ON...
Once we've finalized the invitation layout and you are in love, I will design the other items in the suite to match: RSVP Card, Reception Card, Details Card, Envelopes, Belly Bands, and more!

HOT OFF THE PRESSES!
When you've approved design for all items, and the remaining balance is received, the printing process will begin. It’s very important that you proofread, as I cannot be responsible for errors once your invitations have gone into production. I will create a hard copy proof so you can see just what your invitations will look like printed. Next, you’ll sign a print approval and in just a few short weeks you will receive your lovely paper goods in the mail!. Expect 2–4 weeks for printing and shipping, depending on specifications. Shipping and assembly are included in the design fee. You will receive your beautiful invitation suites at least 10 weeks prior to your big day.

EXTRAS.
If you'd like to add a little something special to your custom wedding suite, like unique envelope liners, calligraphy, wax seals, or more, let's make that happen!

TYPICAL TIMELINE.
Here is what you should expect to allow for the entire process. I realize not every bride starts thinking about their invitations 5 months before their wedding. But, the truth is, the further out you start the process, the more options you have, and the more fabulous they will be! And this is not set in stone. While not ideal, I've made letterpress invitations with calligraphy envelopes happen for a client with under 4 months of planning. Start early. You'll thank me.
